Mongu

Mongu is situated in the Western Province of Zambia. It is approximately 500km from Lusaka. Project Zambia began working with this community in approx. 2007/ 2008. The need for support was highlighted by the Christian Brothers and Edmund Rice Network.  

At a very early stage, the need for a feeding programme became evident. This was to provide payment of food for vulnerable families (priority families are those who are bedridden, have disabilities, HIV positive and other debilitating illnesses) 

PZ is grateful for the working relationship that we have with the Mongu community.  PZ has sent funds over the weekend. This is to continue to support the feeding programme, nearly 12 years later.
