Thinking of travelling to Zambia?
Each year we send a team of volunteers to Lusaka, Zambia to work side-by-side with our host communities to find out their needs and how we can help. Travel for new volunteers typically happens in July/August but can change from year to year. Summer trips are usually 2-3 weeks with a 3-day rest period away from sites on the second week. Recruitment typically happens in September/October to allow adequate preparation time for trip.
What do I need to do?
Volunteers are asked to:
Fundraise £2000 before traveling – each volunteer will work with a committee member to draw up a plan and schedule.
Personally pay £300 towards accommodation and travel
Attend 4 mandatory training days throughout the year to prepare for trip.
