Angels In Development
Angels In Development is a group of projects run by Mrs. Angela Miyanda. It consists of Kabwata Orphanage and School, St Mary’s School in Kabweze and a few income generating projects such as fish farms.
Kabwata Orphanage
Kabwata Orphanage and Transit Centre is home to approx. 75 children, who have been orphaned, whose family have abandoned them or cannot support them or have been removed from their family by social services. Kabwata Orphanage is one of the organisations, which is governed by Angels in Development. It serves children normally up to the age of 18 years old and in some cases, older than this – depending on their individual needs. Project Zambia funds a feeding programme and allowances for Aunties throughout the year as well as larger projects when we can.
