Project Zambia works alongside and in partnership with some of the poorest and most marginalised communities in the world in Zambia (mostly around Lusaka Province). Its work includes HIV/AIDS, education, sanitation, income-generation, orphans, street-children, education and empowerment of disabled children, Home Based Care, health care, micro-finance and other projects that community leaders advise.
Our Projects
St Lawrence School and Special Needs Centre – located beside Misisi slum, children grade 1-12 travel from the compound to receive their education.
Home of Hope – Transit centre for male street children. Aim to reunite with stable family or provide with a safer life
A safe house for female street kids who have been subject to abuse, addiction, prostitution and trafficking. Aims to rehabilitate and upskill girls for self sufficiency
Mapepe – a Village on the outskirts of Lusaka, home to 3 sub-projects; Blessed hope school, Home Based Care and Wider Community.
Mongu – a rural village home to grandparents looking their orphaned grandchildren as a result of the aids crisis.
Angels in Development – overarching project for Kabwata Orphange, St Mary’s School (Kabweza), and income generating projects to sustain them.
